 of death\, and diabetes enhances susceptibility and severity of heart failu
 re. Epidemiological studies support the hypothesis that poor glycemic contr
 ol\, even after corrected\, impacts disease pathology. We will discuss evid
 ence for glucose-mediated regulation of the transcriptional changes that ar
 e associated with pathological cardiac remodeling in this context.</p>
