 re. Epidemiological studies support the hypothesis that poor glycemic contr
 ol\, even after corrected\, impacts disease pathology. We will discuss evid
 ence for glucose-mediated regulation of the transcriptional changes that ar
 e associated with pathological cardiac remodeling in this context.</p>
