Epigenetic regulation of human cortical development and its disruption to cause neurodevelopmental disorders

Talk abstract: Work in my laboratory focuses on modeling gene regulatory networks that control various aspects of human brain development. We are interested in identifying novel transcriptional and epigenetic regulators of these networks, defining mechanisms by which they control brain development, and studying how pathogenic mutations in genes encoding these regulators contribute to neurodevelopmental disorders.
